Bishop Gregory L. Dixon is the Senior Pastor of First Church of
God...Center of Hope in Inglewood, California which is currently
a 3,500 member congregation and growing.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Bishop Dixon earned his Bachelor
of Arts degree in Religious Studies, Master of Arts degree in Church
Administration, and his Ph.D. in Theology with emphasis on Church
Growth from the California Graduate School of Theology. Bishop
Dixon also received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from
Biola University in Los Angeles, California in 1996.
Bishop Dixon currently serves as President of the Southern California
School of Ministry, Advisor to the Interstate Association of the
Church of God, member of the Board of Trustees for Azusa Pacific
University, Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors for the Wholeness
Through the Word Ministry, Inc., Board Member of the Inglewood
Development Corporation (IDC), and on the Board of Directors for
the Home Connection Corporation/Freedom 101. He has served
as a guest lecturer/speaker at the Case Western University Medical
School, Fuller Theological Seminary, Azusa Pacific University,
Hope International University, Churches, Conventions and Conferences
in the United States, Europe and South Africa.
In 1998, the vision given to him for a Ministry Conference came
to fruition and this venue provides a forum of informative material,
powerful group sessions and anointed services for individuals involved
in any aspect of Kingdom building. Bishop Dixon is the President/Founder
of Eagle’s Wings Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. and he conducts
an annual Crusade and Tour to South Africa.
Bishop Dixon is a man of character and integrity. He and his
lovely wife Barbara have been married for over 32 years, and are
proud parents and grandparents.

Barbara
L. Dixon is the wife of Dr. Gregory L. Dixon, Senior Pastor of First
Church of God in Inglewood, California.
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and later moved to Chicago, IL where she
received her formal education, graduating from Englewood High School.
She later attended Wilson Junior College. Barbara later completed
her certificate program at UCLA Extension course in the area of Procurement.
Barbara has held such position as Public Relations Secretary at Continental
Illinois National Bank in Chicago, IL, Administrative Secretary at
Dotson Medical Corporation, Procurement Buyer at Northrop Aerospace
Corporation and is currently the product owner of the Book Nook, a
Christian Book Store that her husband gave to her following her departure
from Northrop Corporation in November 1994.
Barbara is a woman of God with only one desire; that of pleasing the
Lord and her husband. She shares a life of character and integrity
as she leads the women of her congregation.
Barbara and her husband Gregory have been married for 30 years and
are proud parents and grandparents.
